  • St. Patrick’s Cathedral
  •  Welcome lunch
  • Trinity College and the Book of Kells
  • Kilkenny

Sunday, June 1

  • Walking tour of Kilkenny with a local guide
  • Free afternoon in Kilkenny
  • Optional evening ghost walking tour (if available, additional cost)

Monday, June 2

  • Rock of Cashel
  • Burren Visitor’s Center
  • Galway
  • Group dinner with local musicians

Tuesday, June 3

  • Free day in Galway
    OR
  • Optional excursion to the Aran Islands or Doolin Cave and the Cliffs of                          Moher (additional cost)

Wednesday, June 4

  • Donegal tour
  • Donegal Castle
  • Beltane Stone Circle
  • Ballybofey

Thursday, June 5

  • Slieve League Cliffs Center (highest cliffs in Europe)
  • Hike the cliffs
    OR
  • Take an optional Slieve League/Sliabh Liag Cliffs boat tour (additional                           cost)

Friday, June 6

  • Ulster-American Folk Park
  • Hillsborough Castle and Gardens (King Charles III’s palace in Ireland)
  • Farewell dinner in Armagh

Cost:  $10 per person

Travel and Study for College Credit
Carroll Community College students can earn up to 3 credits in one of several disciplines.  With the help of a faculty mentor, students choose a topic of special interest to study onsite in Ireland.  The $35 college registration fee will be applied to the cost of the course.

Travel for Fun
Students, faculty, staff and community members can travel as Continuing Education students.  This trip is open to everyone, including family members.  Travelers under the age of 18 must be accompanied and completely supervised by an adult family member.  The cost to register is $35.
