Virtual Reality Lab
Experience the Future of Education
While many associate it with video games, VR is being used more often in education, and studies show it increases student engagement, leading to deeper learning. VR also gives students new ways to learn collaboratively.
The technology provides almost unlimited possibilities, including:
- Exploring the Great Pyramid
- Touring Anne Franke’s childhood home
- Learning about the inside of the human body
- Going on a mission into outer space
- And much more
All VR experiences are free for students and faculty, and they can select from an extensive catalog. A list of available experiences can be found in Student Resources in Canvas. If there is an experience you would like to try, contact the lab.
Individuals must be a Carroll student or staff member to use the lab. Players are required to have a Carroll ID. You can obtain one at the Library Front Desk if you do not have one.
FREE for Carroll Students & Employees!
