Carroll Music students have many opportunities to gain solo and ensemble performance experience in our Theater in the Scott Center. You may perform solo at daytime Student Recitals as well as perform in a variety of group/ensemble settings. Ensemble options include Rock ‘N’ Roll Ensemble, Vocal Chamber Ensemble, Jazz Combo, Guitar Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra and more. You can also attend free guest artist workshops where you may have the opportunity to perform for—and receive feedback from—the artists in a masterclass setting.
Carroll’s smaller class sizes allow for more meaningful interaction with your professors and peers. In addition to your class and ensemble work, you also complete 8 credits of one-on-one applied voice or instrumental lessons. The individual attention you receive in your applied lessons is critical to your development as a musician and essential for audition preparation.
