Student Excellence Showcase
Carroll Community College faculty nominate students who complete exemplary assignments to participate annual Student Showcase. Beginning in 2024, the Showcase also features projects completed by students in Carroll’s Lynx Scholars, Pappalardo Honors, and STEM Scholars programs. Student work represents a variety of Carroll courses and demonstrates significant research, writing, problem solving, reflection, and creativity. Some of the assignments that are showcased are assignments from General Education courses. These common assignments are assessments, tasks, or projects specifically adopted or created to measure at least four of the College’s eight General Education goals. Most program courses contain similar comprehensive assignments, or keystone assignments, assessing course objectives and program goals.
