Miller Impact Report: September 2024
Empowering Entrepreneurs in Carroll County
Executive Summary
Miller: Resources for Entrepreneurs continues to be a cornerstone for local entrepreneurship, providing invaluable support and resources to help businesses thrive and driving economic development in Carroll County.
In September we facilitated the launch of 5 new businesses and welcomed 13 new clients, spanning a variety of sectors and locations across the county including Westminster, Sykesville, Mount Airy, Eldersburg, and Finksburg.
This month, Miller has kicked off preparations for the highly anticipated 2nd annual Winter Market at the College. This event offers our clients a fantastic platform to showcase and sell their products, fostering community engagement and boosting local commerce.
Miller is spearheading the inaugural “Community Engagement Workshop Series for Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs.” This initiative is designed to equip local business owners with essential skills and knowledge, ensuring they have the tools needed for success. By collaborating with Taneytown Economic Development and the Carroll County Public Library, Miller is creating a robust support network that empowers small businesses and drives economic growth in the region.
