Steps to Admission
For individuals previously enrolled at Carroll as a credit student (regular or dually enrolled)
- Set up your college account
Your account must be set up before proceeding. You will receive an email from the College within 24 hours of your application being accepted with instructions for setting up your account.
- If you don’t receive the email, check your junk/SPAM folder.
- If you still can’t find your account setup email, call Admissions at 410-386-8430.
- If you need help with account or multi-factor authentication setup, call the IT HelpDesk at (410) 386-8060.
- Complete your New Student Resource Check-in
Directions for how to access this survey are included in your account setup email. This survey will help us connect you with campus and community resources that may help you be successful at Carroll. Complete the survey even if you completed it as a new student at Carroll to let us know of any changes in your circumstances. - Send your transcripts
Did you attend another college during your break from Carroll? Send your college transcripts and complete a transfer evaluation form to transfer your credits to Carroll. - Register for classes
You can register for classes in Student Planning or call at 410-386-8435 to make an appointment with Academic Advising for help. You will meet with a dedicated advisor who will help you plan and register for your courses. - Complete the FAFSA and apply for scholarships
- Prepare for Class
- Preview your classes in Canvas one week before classes begin and make any schedule adjustments before attending.
- Buy your books.
- Go to your classes the first day they meet.
Attending the first class and having the required books and supplies is crucial for starting off on the right foot. Meet your professors. Make new friends. Learn and grow.
