New Student Checklist Group Carroll Community College

To Ensure You Have a Smooth Start to Your First Semester, Complete Below Steps.

For those pursuing a degree or pathway program following their high school studies.


  1. Set Up Your Student Account
    Check your email within 24 hours of your application submission for instructions. Check your junk/SPAM folder. Need assistance? Call the IT Help Desk at 410-386-8080 or email at ITHelpDesk@carrollcc.edu.
  2. Submit Your Transcripts
    Ensure your academic history is complete. Send your high school and/or college transcripts and relevant test scores to admissions@carrollcc.edu. For official transfer credit evaluations, please fill out a transfer evaluation request form
  3. Schedule Advising Appointment
    Schedule an advising appointment at 410-386-8435 to plan your academic journey and register for courses. Before your meeting, review the classes offered for the upcoming semester.
  4. Pay for College

  5. Attend New Student Orientation
    Get ready to thrive as part of the Lynx family at Carroll! Attend New Student Orientation to familiarize yourself with campus life and course expectations. Check your Carroll email or visit the Orientation webpage for details.
