Christopher Rusk: Campus Involvement Key to His Success
Carroll student and SGO officer Christopher Rusk cannot say enough about the fun and engaging atmosphere the college creates for its students.
He considered a few four-year universities before making “the best choice to attend Carroll.” He even discovered that opportunities at Carroll to connect with his peers outside of the classroom rival the college life of any four-year institution.
At Carroll, I have the opportunity to become a better student while figuring out my career path.
Rusk believes that the collegial atmosphere at Carroll makes it easier to concentrate on his studies and to explore career options. He strongly praises faculty members who create a caring community of one-on-one support and an upbeat, positive vibe on campus.
The former culinary school student who made the switch to Carroll sums it all up this way: “At Carroll, I can explore a variety of subjects. I can save money. I can stay close to home. That adds up to a winning combination of reasons why Carroll works for me. I have the opportunity to become a better college student while figuring out my career path.”
“When I graduate from Carroll,” Rusk said, “I will miss the excellent academic culture. I will also miss a world of rich experiences which make Carroll home to so many who are starting their college journeys.”
