HR Leadership: Adapting to the Future of Work with Confidence

Presented by Mike Nally
Nally Ventures Leadership

Traditional business strategies focused on establishing static competitive advantages are becoming less effective in the face of rapid change in our world today. Companies are now recognizing the importance of adaptability as a competitive advantage, shifting focus towards their people and organizational capabilities that foster rapid adaptation. One component is an organization’s leadership team`s ability to adapt its leadership style to meet the company’s and team’s needs. HR leaders will evaluate their current leadership style, explore alternative styles and learn to assess situations accurately to deploy the appropriate leadership style. By learning to adapt, HR leaders won’t be asked to change who they are at their core yet use their years of experience and new knowledge to make a leadership choice and create a competitive edge.

How to Recover from the After Effects of Incivility and Restore Well-being and Performance

Presented by Jeanne Belmonte

Incivility happens. It often results in anxiety and other forms of distracting stress that can wreck your peace of mind and affect your job performance. According to The Harvard Business Review, due to a perceived offense, 80% of employees report losing time at work worrying about “what just happened.” How do you imagine the aftereffects of interpersonal challenges?  When we lose our focus, how can we get it back? We need a practical method to help us re-engage after a perceived offense. In this workshop, you will learn a two-step procedure for reducing stress at work. It will help to restore your well-being and improve your overall performance.
