In business, a professional brand describes distinctive qualities of an object or organization, why they are relevant and why they matter. Individuals have the same need. Students learn to take control by sharpening their personal brand, identifying what makes them stand out, and telling their unique story. Sign up online.

Theater in the Scott Center
Spend the evening with these high-energy New Jersey improvisers, who consistently deliver a pop culture based “thrill ride” of an improv comedy show. Watch as they battle it out in a series of improve games and scenes until one performer earns the coveted title of “Champion of Champions.” Then, experience a fusion of international award winning magic, circus stunts featured on The Tonight Show and wildly interactive comedy.
Help support the Carroll Food Locker by donating a non-perishable food item. Donations are not required, but will be greatly appreciated by those in need.
iServe Trip to My Sister’s Place
Friday, April 17, 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Students help plan, prepare and serve a meal at this center. Students are expected to contribute a food item towards a meal to serve to the shelter clients that day. There is a $5 refundable deposit for this service. Sign up online.
Women's Em-POWER-ment Workshop
Monday, April 20, 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Students learn how to protect themselves, physically and mentally. We mix proactive strategies with physical self-defense techniques aimed at protecting their safety. Black-belt instructor, Deb McCarron, from Tri-Star Martial Arts facilitates this workshop. A light dinner is included. This workshop is for female students only. Sign up online, and visit the Student Life office (A118) to sign a waiver and pay a $5 deposit.
Thursday, April 23, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Take a break at lunch time and stroll through a mini-health market. Pick up information and fresh tips on wellness. Four-to-six activities provide you with possibilities for more healthful, joyful, and peaceful living.
American Red Cross Blood Drive
Wednesday and Thursday, April 29 and 30, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Give the gift of life by donating blood. Schedule an appointment in the Student Life Office (A118). Walk-ins are welcome.
