Alternatives for Saving Gas

  • Car Pool – ideal for students sharing similar class schedules
  • Carroll Area Transit System’s (CATS) student pass - provides unlimited rides on any of the Carroll Transit Shuttles for $45 per semester. Passes can be purchased at the college’s Cashier’s Office and CATS office.

Computer Use
Standard, internet-accessible personal computers are sufficient for Carroll’s classes. A high-speed connection is strongly encouraged.

Carroll provides computer labs with more than 450 computers, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus.

Credit students may take advantage of Microsoft and Adobe software discounts through the college.

ID Cards
Student ID cards may be obtained at New Student Orientation or during the first week of classes in the library. The student ID card allows for admission to college activities, borrowing library books and discounts at local businesses. Students should carry their ID cards with them at all times.

Insurance Enrollment Verification
Enrollment verification for health insurance providers may be obtained from the Records Office in A112.
