Our Instructors will grow on you!

Marann Jones, a landscape architect, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Design from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and has completed postgraduate work in Landscape Design from Sheffield University, Sheffield England. She volunteers as a Penn State Master Gardener. Jones has a deep passion for teaching and designing garden space.

Don West is president of Double Diamond Construction. He brings his expertise, humor and vast experience to each class. West specializes in renovating houses and is a local leader in aspects of the green building and construction.

Lee Royer has over 30 years’ experience growing African Violets and is a member of the African Violet Society of America and the Baltimore African Violet and Gesneriad Club.
