Virtual Orientation
We want to help you make a smooth transition into Carroll by showing you the many opportunities offered by the college and by communicating the expectations that we have of all our students.
This Virtual Orientation is a supplement to the on-campus New Student Orientation held at the college. These pages give you information you need before you begin your classes. You will also be introduced to the resources available to you as a student, and ways to be successful during your time at Carroll Community College, so you won't feel frustrated, confused, or lost when you start.
You can access these orientation pages at any time, but if you're a new student it's best to visit the Getting Started pages first. It may also be helpful to have your class schedule booklet handy for reference.
These orientation pages contain information that is critical to you as a new student, and things you'll be expected to know when you start classes. You may learn something new even if you're a returning student.
While you may choose to go through these pages in any order, it is important that you read each section. Don't worry - we've kept it short. The best way is to start at the beginning. Just use the navigation on the right side of each page to work through the various topics.
