Applying for Scholarships at Carroll
Applying for Carroll's institutional scholarships is simple. In addition to a possible merit-based scholarship for the Hill Scholars program, you may be eligible for other merit-based and need-based institutional scholarships. To be considered, you must apply online.
Follow these simple steps:
- Visit our Financial Aid web page and click the Stars Online link.
- Create a profile and answer some simple questions so that we can provide you with scholarship options that fit your eligibility.
- Once scholarships have been identified, apply for each applicable scholarship before the April 21 deadline.
You may complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application online. Determining your financial need involves a careful review of your information from the FAFSA. This standard need analysis system treats all students equally and fairly.
Financial Aid also includes the ability to receive student loans. Completing the FAFSA is the first step for apply for loans as well.
Certain scholarships are awarded based on your academic record and your intended major. For example, the Commissioners' Student Leadership Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate leadership qualities and academic excellence. You need to write an essay about a service experience or a community activity in which you have participated.
