The Hill Scholars Program
The Hill Scholars Program is a selective admission honors cohort program that includes honors courses linked by a common theme, seminars and extra-curricular enrichment opportunities. The program offers students enriched learning experiences that foster intellectual inquiry, critical thinking skills, a passion for life-long learning and an active learning community of students and faculty working together.
The core of the program is a group of seven General Education courses in English, History, Philosophy, Art, Anthropology and Psychology.
Hill Scholars enroll in two of the designated honors courses and a one-credit honors seminar each semester. The remainder of the 15 credits per semester include courses chosen for the student's major.
At the end of the two-year program, students earn an associate degree as well as the Hill Scholar designation. Scholarships are available for qualified students.
