The new Mt. Airy College Center, a partnership between Carroll, Frederick and Howard Community Colleges, provides affordable health care programs in one convenient location.
The state-of-the-art center offers affordable health care credit degree programs, certification preparation and continuing professional education in a number of high-demand health care occupations. All courses are available to students from Carroll, Frederick and Howard Counties at in-county tuition rates.

Location
The Mount Airy College Center for Health Care Education is located at 1902 Back Acre Circle, Mount Airy (off Twin Arch Road).
Available Programs
The following credit certificate and degree programs are available to students in all three counties.
Carroll
- Health Information Technology: Certificate and Associate of Applied Science
Howard
- Emergency Medical Services: Certificate
Frederick
- Respiratory Care: Associate of Applied Science (Selective Admission Only)
- Medical Laboratory Technician: Associate of Applied Science
Carroll students may enroll in Health Information Technology courses, EMS, foundational courses associated with programs, or general education courses at their Carroll tuition rate. When students begin the programmatic coursework (HIT, EMS, RC, MLT), they pay the in-county tuition rate for the sponsoring institution (this tuition agreement is for residents of the three counties only).
