Instructors
Karen Moody is a biologist who teaches Environmental Science at Carroll. She has had a variety of training and classes in different gardening methods. She brings her love for gardening and over 20 years of gardening expertise to her students.
Lee Royer is a member of The American Pastured Poultry Producers Association, serves on the board of the Maryland Small Farm Cooperative and volunteers as a Master Gardener with the MD Cooperative Extension. She lives and farms on Wee Bigger Farm.
Nadine Sachs serves on the Board of the National Association of Professional Organizers. She is the owner of Organized2Succeed, which focuses on both residential and small business organizing and she is a Custom Closet Designer.
Don West, President of Double Diamond Construction. He brings his expertise, humor and vast experience to each class. Don specializes in renovating houses and is a local leader in aspects of the green building and construction.
