Dental Assistant

Dental Assistants work in dental offices assisting the dentists and dental hygienists in providing services to patients. This may include maintaining medical records, assisting with collection of patient symptom information, instrument preparation, patient preparation, film development and creating cast impressions. Hours are generally standard daytime with some evening and weekend flexibility, depending on facility.


Position Requirements
Minimum of 18 years of age to be employed.

    • Expanded Functions: Orthodontics - Qualified Dental Assistant (QDA) through the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners
