Course Description

HIST-298, The Art and Culture of Ancient Egypt, surveys the culture and history of Ancient Egypt through its art, sculpture, and architecture. The course covers Ancient Egypt's history from the unification through the end of its empire period. Throughout, the student will study the major artifacts which allow us to form a picture of Ancient Egypt's culture. Three hours lecture each week. Three credits. Three billable hours.
