HLTH-210, Nutrition & Weight Management
HLTH-210, Nutrition and Weight Management, covers the practical application of nutrition, eating habits, physical activity and other issues related to weight management. Individual, societal and environmental factors that influence behavior, eating disorders and obesity are discussed. Behavioral and non-behavioral approaches to nutrition, weight control and disease prevention are analyzed and implemented. Prerequisite: exemption/completion HLTH-101 or PHED-101. Three hours lecture each week. Three credits. Three billable hours. Offered Fall term.
