Course Description
MUSIC-101, Music Appreciation, is designed to sharpen the student's listening focus in order to enrich his/her listening experience. The course accomplishes this by moving in easy steps from elements of its language to masterpieces of Western music. World music and popular music are also included. Prerequisite: exemption/completion of READ-099. Three hours lecture each week. Three credits. Three billable hours. GENERAL EDUCATION
