Credit Instructional Computer Labs

Non-Credit Instructional & Training Computer Labs

The computer lab facilities used for non-credit classes are generally reserved for use by students taking non-credit classes. 

Academic Services Labs

Computers are available for your word-processing and desktop publishing needs. Tutorials are available and recommended for students who are not familiar with the system and/or with individual programs.

Library Labs

The Carroll Community College Library makes 27 public PCs available for use on the main floor of the library. The computers are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and may be used any time that the library is open.

The computers are all equipped with major Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.) and Internet Explorer. Select CD-ROM software is available on specified computers. For questions regarding the computers, please contact the Library Reference Desk at (410) 386-8340.

When using computers, please observe the following policies:

When others are waiting to use the computers:

• Priority will be given to current students, staff, and faculty of Carroll Community College.
• Use priorities are: research, word-processing, e-mail/chat.
• Use may be limited to 30 minutes.

Please:

• Save your files to a disk.
• No food or beverages near computers.
• Return screen to the homepage when finished.
