Refund Policy

For courses that encompass the full term, the 100% refund period concludes at the end of the day one calendar week after the start of the term (7% of the instruction time for the course). For courses that encompass less than the full term, the 100% refund period is calculated per the following chart. If you drop classes after this time frame, you will not receive a refund.

Visit the Records Office  in A112 for assistance in confirming deadline dates and procedures for withdrawing from a course.

To qualify for a refund, you must officially drop a course(s) by submitting an Add-Drop/Withdrawal Form to the Records Office or by mailing or faxing a signed written request to the Records Office within the time period cited above.

Completion of the form after the refund period requires instructor signature(s). If you fail to attend a course or stop attending a course, and do not formally drop the course in writing, you continue to be financially responsible for all tuition and fees related to the course(s) and receive final grades of "F" for those courses. This refund policy applies to all students who have registered for courses.

Refunds are credited against the original form of payment when applicable. However, if you have any outstanding debt to the college, your refunds are first automatically applied to the payment of the debt.

The refund calculation  is based on seven percent of the instruction time for the course, a figure that is rounded to the nearest full day.
