Carroll Community College Presents Performances of “Our Town”
Westminster, Md., Oct. 28, 2013—Carroll Community College will present performances of “Our Town” by Thornton Wilder in November.
The theater classic tale about life and love is a timeless drama of a mythical village of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire. The play has become an American tradition with universal appeal.
Thornton Wilder’s most frequently performed play, “Our Town” appeared on Broadway in 1938 to wide acclaim and won the Pulitzer Prize.
Performances will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 24 at 2 p.m.
Admission is $10 for general audiences and five dollars for senior adults over age 65, faculty, staff and students with ID. Tickets are available in advance at www.carrollcc.edu/campus/theater.
