Paintings by Kim Kendall Tyson on Display at Carroll Community College
Kim Kendall Tyson: Paintings will be on display Nov. 5 through Dec. 14, 2006 in the Langdon Family Gallery at Carroll Community College, 1601 Washington Road, Westminster. An opening reception will be held Nov. 5 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Tyson attended Towson State University from 1972 to 1974. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1992 and a Master of Liberal Studies degree in 1996 from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. She received a Masters of Arts in Teaching Fine Arts from Morgan State University in 2004.
Tyson has shown paintings and block prints in a variety of venues in the Baltimore region. She is an art teacher with the Baltimore City Public School system and was the curator of the Fonda Gallery in the Theatre Project in Baltimore from 1996 to 2000. She is a member of the Baltimore Creative Alliance.
The Langdon Family Gallery is open Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
