Dr. Raza Khan Joins College Staff

Dr. Raza Khan Joins Carroll Community College
Dr. Raza Khan joined Carroll Community College (Carroll) on August 15, 2006 as an assistant chemistry professor.
Dr. Khan had most recently been on the chemistry faculty at Linn Benton Community College, Albany, Ore. He was previously a post-doctoral associate at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Colo.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Howard University, Washington, D.C., and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in analytical chemistry from Howard University.
"Dr. Khan has several years of teaching experience at two and four-year institutions," said Judy Coen, chairperson, Mathematics, Sciences, Health, and Wellness at Carroll.
"He is a great addition to our faculty. Dr. Khan uses technology to enhance student learning and his focus is student-oriented. He uniquely brings a wealth of experience to the position."
Dr. Khan lives in Owings Mills, Md. with his wife Setara (Ariana) and children Ahad and Zyad.
