Carroll Community College Presents Art by the Continuing Education Art Faculty
Westminster, Md.--The Babylon Great Hall at Carroll Community College will be the site of an art exhibit titled "Con Artists, Original Art by Continuing Education Art Faculty" from Sunday, Feb. 23 through Friday, March 21. An opening reception will be held Sunday, Feb. 23 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This highly diverse exhibit will feature the art of 14 dedicated art instructors whose service to teaching and learning has been the bedrock of cultural community outreach in the non-credit area of Carroll Community College. Each of these skilled artists brings the creative energy of their life’s work to the classroom. They each continue to make art in their own business, studio and classroom situations both locally and regionally. Impressive academic credentials and long histories of exhibition experience make these folks exceptional arts professionals. Carroll Community College is proud to present this exhibit in our most public and inspirational gallery space, The Babylon Great Hall. Painting, pastel, collage and photography mix it up in this lively exhibit. The CON ED Art Faculty includes: Sarah Abel-Deluca, Chris Ammann, Al Arnold, Walt Calahan, Joseph Paul Cassar, Leslie Chesley, Ken Ecker, Cathy Gilleland, Kelly Heck, Daniel Humphries-Russ, Shirley Lippy, Jennifer Littleton, Jeff Sharp, and Steve Solomon.
