Carroll Community College Announces Adult Education Events for January
Westminster, Md.,—Carroll Community College Adult Education Program offers official GED practice tests and family literacy classes in January.
On Saturday, Jan. 26, there will be an official GED practice test which is half the length of the actual GED test. Students receive their scores on test day. The cost is $20. The practice test will be held at Carroll Community College, 1601 Washington Road, Westminster, Md., 21157. The starting time is 8:30 a.m. and the ending time is 2:30 p.m.
Orientation for family literacy classes for those interested in obtaining a high school diploma will be held Tuesday, Jan. 29 and Wednesday, Jan. 30 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. These free classes also include early childhood education for children of participating parents. The classes will be held at Carroll County Family Center at 10 Distillery Drive, Westminster, Md., 21157.
