Carroll Community College Announces Adult Education
Events for April and May
Westminster, Md.-The Carroll Community College Adult Education Program will offer a series of classes and events this April and May.
Orientation for Family Literacy Classes for those interested in obtaining a high school diploma will be held free of charge on Wednesday, April 27 and Thursday, April 28. The time is from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Orientation will be held at the Carroll County Family Center at 10 Distillery Drive in Westminster, Md. Early childhood education is available for children of participating parents.
The Official GED Practice Test will be held on Saturday, April 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the college at 1601 Washington Road in Westminster. The Practice Test is half the length of the actual GED Test. Students receive their scores on test day. The cost is $20.
Free Orientation for High School Diploma Programs for adults will be held Monday, May 9 and Wednesday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The college offers daytime and evening high school diploma programs for adults, including both GED Preparation classes and the National External Diploma Program.
