Carroll Community College Announces Adult Education Events
Westminster, Md.,The official GED practice test will be offered by Carroll Community College’s Adult Education department on March 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The practice test is half the length of the actual GED test. Students receive their scores on test day. The test will be held at the college at 1601 Washington Rd., Westminster, Md. 21157. Registration is required and the cost is $20.
Registration for English classes for speakers of other languages will be held on March 30 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Adult Education office at 224 North Center St, Westminster, Md., 21157. Free classes offer basic reading, writing and speaking skills. Students also learn about computers and community resources and activities. Beginning and Intermediate level classes are offered.
Orientations for high school diploma programs for adults will be held on March 28 and March 29 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The orientations will be held at the Adult Education office at 224 North Center St., Westminster, Md. 21157. Carroll Community College offers daytime and evening high school diploma programs for adults, including both GED preparation classes and the National External Diploma Program. Registration for orientation is required.
