Carroll Community College Announces Auditions for Theatrical Production of Rent
Westminster, Md., Auditions for the production Rent will be held at Carroll Community College on Dec. 8 and 9, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m by appointment.
Performance dates for the production are March 9,10,11,12 and 13, 2011. Rehearsals begin Saturday, Jan. 29.
Auditions are open to students, faculty, staff, and the community by appointment only. Those who audition can prepare a song or a reading.
Rent is Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer prize-winning Broadway musical based loosely on Puccini's opera La Boheme. It follows a year in the lives of seven friends living the disappearing Bohemian lifestyle in New York's East Village.
