Carroll Community College Welcomes New Hill Scholars
Westminster, Md., On Friday, September 10th, the fourth class of Hill Scholars, was joined by their parents at the President's Welcome Reception at Carroll Community College. College President Dr. Faye Pappalardo welcomed the new class, along with their parents. She invited each student to take on every challenge and opportunity that comes their way at Carroll. Also addressing the group was Mr. Martin Hill and Ms. Kelly Hill, who are donors and strong supporters of the honors program. Immediately following the reception, Hill Scholars students in their second year joined new incoming students on an overnight leadership retreat.
"We are looking forward to the wonderful academic accomplishments from this group of Hill Scholars," said Dr. Pappalardo.
