New Scholarship Established at Carroll Community College

Westminster, Md., The Frederick/Carroll Voiture Locale 155, La Societe des Quarante Hommes at Huit Chevaux  has made a donation to establish a scholarship for nursing students at Carroll Community College.
Patrick Hauke and Norman Covert of the Frederick/Carroll Voiture Locale 155 met with Carroll Community College Foundation Executive Director Steve Wantz to establish this fund.
La Societe des Quarante Hommes at Huit Chevaux is an independent, by invitation, honor organization of male and female U. S. veterans, more commonly known as the Forty & Eight.
The Forty & Eight is committed to charitable and patriotic aims.  Their purpose is to uphold and defend the United States Constitution, to promote the well being of veterans and their widows and orphans, and to actively participate in selected charitable endeavors. These include programs that promote child welfare and nurses' training.
