Senior Activities Featured at the Annual Random House Book Fair
at Carroll Community College
Activities to be Held the Afternoon of Friday, March 5 at the College
Westminster, Md., Jan. 29, 2010-Seniors age 55 and above are invited to attend a special preview one day before the Annual Random House Book Fair on Friday, March 5. The Annual Random House Book Fair will be held the following day on Saturday, March 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On Friday, March 5, local author Tim Dixon will hold a book discussion at the college at 1:30 in Room M 157 of the college .
A "Memoirs Workshop" presented by Dr. Ken Shook will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in Room M 150 of the college.
Discounted book sales will take place Friday afternoon in the college Great Hall from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This is the thirteenth year that Carroll Community College and Random House have partnered to provide a literary and family activity experience for patrons from Carroll County and throughout the region. Proceeds from the Annual Random House Book Fair benefit student scholarships at the college.
