Carroll Community College Students Win Awards for Rugby Team Club

Westminster, Md., May 18, 2009-Carroll Community College student Caleb Mazaika has taken care of club business for the Rugby Team, which includes dues, paperwork, and practices. He has demonstrated leadership for his tireless efforts. For this reason, Mazaika received "The Miracle" Award from the Student Government Organization. In addition, John Stieber won "The Radio" award for constantly encouraging his team to succeed on and off the field.
 
Award titles were based on popular movies that best describe the qualities of the winners. The awards were presented at a student banquet with a "Hollywood" theme that was held in the Great Hall of the college on May 15.

The Student Government Organization is the umbrella organization for all college clubs.
