Westminster, Md., Oct. 30, 2008--Carroll Community College is pleased to announce its new partnership with Positive Coaching Alliance.  Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) is a nonprofit organization founded at Stanford University with the mission to transform youth sports so sports can transform youth.  PCA was created to transform the culture of youth sports to give all young athletes the opportunity for a positive, character-building experience.

Carroll Community College, in partnership with PCA, will provide the Double-Goal Coach® workshops to experienced, rookie, and future coaches at its Washington Road Campus in Westminster beginning in February, 2009.  This is a series of continuing education classes provided in collaboration with the college credit side.
