Carroll Community College Students Complete Leadership Challenge

Twenty-four students at Carroll Community College successfully completed the Leadership Challenge Program in FY2007.

"The Leadership Challenge program provides opportunities for students to develop their leadership skills and apply those skills to real-life situations" said Kate Schuit, coordinator of Student Life.  "Not only are students gaining knowledge about leadership, they are demonstrating that they can apply that knowledge to their lives.  Students who complete the program have documented these experiences in a portfolio that they can then take with them to transfer colleges, scholarship boards, and job opportunities.  Building a portfolio helps students to connect what they are learning inside and outside of the classroom with their life goals."
