Carroll to Host Free Concerts

Carroll Community College to Host Free Concerts
Carroll Community College will hold a variety of instrumental and choral performances this spring. The following concerts are free and open to the public:
- The Westminster Symphony Orchestra will perform on Tuesday, April 17, 2007, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Theater in the Scott Center. The conductor will be Eli Wirth, director of the music department.
- A Jazz Festival will be held Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 1 p.m. in the Rotary Amphitheater at the college. The event will feature the Carroll Community College Jazz Ensemble, Carroll Community College Jazz Combo, Franklin High Jazz Ensemble, Greg Adams Trio, the Reisterstown Jazz Ensemble, and more. The director is Bo Eckard, music faculty.
- The Carroll Community College Chorus, the Chamber Choir, and Guitar Ensemble will present "Dream a Dream" on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. in the Theater in the Scott Center. The concert will feature scenes from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The director is Janice Wall, music faculty.
