Carroll Community College Offers Lifelong Learning Classes

Carroll Community College is offering the following Spring 2007 Lifelong Learning classes at its Sykesville Center, at the Public Safety Education and Training Center of the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services, located at 6852 4th St., Sykesville.

Merging Your Money and Your Life
This new course can help you create the life you ultimately want by making good financial decisions now. Discover a process that will help you identify what is most important to you and complete a confidential Life Planning Process Self Examination Questionnaire to help you identify your style, desires and dreams. Instructor: Roger Desai, a certified financial planner/educator and an independent financial advisor representative.

ASL: Basic 2
Grow your understanding of and confidence with American Sign Language. This class reviews common vocabulary and grammar, while introducing new signs and other considerations important when communicating with deaf people. Sign with Your Baby
This new course will help you communicate with your baby before he or she can speak! American Sign Language (ASL) is a way to communicate with your young child while providing opportunities to develop motor and thinking skills. This course introduces the basics of ASL that you can use with your family, specifically children between three months and three years. Instructor: Evelyn Weidig.

Animal Photography
Get close and personal with your animal photography! With this new course you can learn strategies for success! Receive advice on accessories and composition guides and go on location to the Baltimore Zoo for the second session.
