Carroll Community College Students Complete Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate Program

 Eleven Carroll Community College students marked completion of their training to become Certified Nursing Assistants on Dec. 14, 2006, with a ceremony at the college. College President Dr. Faye Pappalardo presented the certificates.

Christina Elms, Mary Neuner, Jeanette Russo, Amy Yirka, Lisa Upperman, Angela Catania, Denise Clark, Angela Bungartz, Vicki Cockey, Nicole Farace, and Nicole Huffer
received pins and certificates. They are now eligible for certification in the state of Maryland.

The students completed 132 hours of classroom and clinical work, including learning patient care skills, infection control, disease processes, and safety procedures.

Carroll Community College is located at 1601 Washington Rd. in Westminster, Md.
